Insurance Claims
A “certificate on earthquake occurrence” is issued to the concerned insurance company only on payment basis for settling damage claims after seeking approval of competent authority of the department.
For obtaining such a certificate, the insurance company should make a formal request to the Director, National Center for Seismology C/o Mausam Bhavan Complex, India Meteorological Department, Lodi Road, New Delhi-110003 after initial survey conducted by the Insurance Company as per their official procedure and also intimating the details of claimant, Policy No., Claim No., exact date & approximate time and place of damage due to the earthquake etc.
Follow these step to Request Data
Step 1. Request Data Submit Details and Download Undertaking Form.
Step 2. Complete Undertaking and Data Request Form.
Step 3. Submit Docs Verify your Email/Mobile Number by 8 digit OTP Sent on your Mail ID/Mobile Number, Upload Undertaking and Data request PDF document.
Step 4. You will get notified to download data through your Email/Mobile Number.
